Taking the Plunge

I often wondered what my cousin’s thoughts & feelings were before taking the plunge. What level of hopelessness & despair must one feel to throw it all away? Was it anything close to what I’m feeling? Don’t think I’m ready to take that plunge…still holding on to life, though I don’t know why.
